Report a problem or share what you know about another Blade model. You do not need to write code.
Report a bug
Use the OpenBlade issue tracker for crashes, missing controls, incorrect readings, profile problems, or anything else that does not work as expected.
Tell us about your laptop
- Your OpenBlade version
- The Blade name and model number
- Your BIOS or firmware version
- Whether Synapse or another hardware utility was running
Check files before sharing
Screenshots and OpenBlade's redacted diagnostic export can help. Remove account details, serial numbers, user names, and local file paths. Never attach a raw USB capture to a public issue.
Help support another Blade model
If your model is not listed on the Compatibility page, open an issue in the core repository. Start with the information below. A maintainer can then tell you whether a diagnostic export, screenshot, or capture would be useful.
Identify the model
- The full product name and model number, such as
RZ09-xxxx - The BIOS or firmware version
- The hardware ID, if you already know it

- The controls available in Synapse
- The features you want OpenBlade to support
- Screenshots with personal information removed

About captures
Captures can show how one control works on a specific laptop, but they may also contain device-specific information. Do not collect or publish one without reading Safe testing and coordinating with a maintainer first.
- Change only one reversible setting at a time.
- Record the value before the change so it can be restored.
- Keep the original capture private.
- Share only the reviewed, sanitized result through the path a maintainer provides.

Report documentation mistakes in the documentation repository. Development and build instructions belong in the core repository.
For a security problem or anything that may expose sensitive device data, do not open a public issue. Follow the project's security policy.
